You can get a good idea of how I approach climate literacy topics from the essays I’ve written here on the blog, and I’d encourage you to read through a few. In a public presentation or short course, I will present you with the unvarnished scientific truth. No sugar-coating, no cheerleading of ‘green solutions’, but also no ‘doomerism’. If you are looking for an uplifting, TED-talk-like pitch with an unflinching happy ending, then I am not the person you want to hear from.

However, if you want to understand the basics of climate science, the present state of climate and ecological breakdown and how we got to this point, and learn about what will work to get the living world (including humans) through these crises, based on empirical evidence, then please contact me.

The answers require a willingness to imagine a very different future for ourselves, and a commitment to work toward it without any guarantee of success.
